Short
description of the project:
Main task of
the “Lernende Region” is the improvement of framework conditions for lifelong
learning. The lifelong learning promotes the more effective exhaustion of the
available potential of the labor force.
For this the
organization has built up a service offering, which mainly includes the a
consulting service about individual lifelong learning. The described service is
accessible in the different phases of life for all classes of society. The
advisory services contains:

Further training consultancy of training
providers
-
Educational guidance of the chambers
-
Educational guidance of the work agency
-
Course guidance service of the university
and the college.
For SMEs exists
a regional framework for training advice of the specialists and executives with
following focus:

the training need orientates itself at
long-term objectives of the enterprise and also takes into account the business
management aspects of the business
-
integral solutions which are arranged from
the training offers of different providers are selected for the enterprise.
Results:
The organization „Lernende
Region Trier e.V.“ is a successful association of chambers, universities and
economy, which competently and efficiently contributes for the qualification
level of the labor force in the region.
